Below are a few simple prevention tactics to ensure the longevity of your Terrace waterproofing:

1. Pre-monsoon Inspection:

  • Prevention is better than cure. Hence, make sure to inspect your roof for any newly formed cracks or damage to waterproofing layers. Repair such cracks using SBR mortar or sealing paste depending upon the crack size.

  • Also, remove any debris and unwanted materials. It is always advisable to keep your roof devoid of anything unwanted. Don't treat your roof like a dump.

  • If you find any kind of small or big plant growing on the roof, take it seriously and remove it all the way to the roots.
